In partnership with Alos, Centro Europeo de Idiomas, we would like to offer you something really different. Practise your English while you try a typical meal from an English speaking country. We provide the venue, the food, the wine, the teacher and even the topics of conversation. All you have to do is ENJOY.
What we offer is a total immersion culinary and cultural experience. Everything will be in English, our waiters all speak English, of course our teachers speak English and the food will be representative of an English speaking country. Each evening, we will change countries and topics of conversation so you will be able to sample a wide range of the best of the English speaking world.

The activity:This course is designed for all those who have ever wanted to find out more about wine and would like to become more familiar with how wine is made, kept and how it compliments different types of food.
Wine appreciation is a descriptive process. Use your senses to study, analyse, describe, judge, qualify and classify each wine, something that can only be achieved by acquiring the necessary analytical skills. These skills are nurtured through a continuous honing of our senses until we develop a sensorial memory, which allows us to distinguish and associate our perceptions about the wine.
We will be working with the “LE NEZ DU VIN” aroma kit by Jean Lenoir.

Definition of wine appreciation and its different components: colour, smell, taste Serving temperature and equipment: glasses, corkscrews, decanters, temperature control Terminology of wine labeling and “Denominación de origen” (the official classification of the wine’s origin).

La cena tendrá lugar con profesores nativos que dirigirán la conversación y ayudarán a los asistentes a mejorar su nivel de inglés. El precio incluye una copa de vino de bienvenida, la cena con profesores nativos y un mojito.
Para poder reservar tu plaza debes inscribirte por correo electrónico y abonar el curso en Cava Siglos o a través de transferencia bancaria. Las plazas son limitadas en riguroso orden de inscripción.
